Introducing the RNDI-KT: Active Transformer Keytar Interface

New for April 2025, Rupert Neve Designs is proud to introduce the world’s first high-performance wireless keytar interface. With a custom dual-tap Rupert Neve Designs transformer on both the main output and MIDI THRU, class-A discrete circuitry throughout, and a new patented SOLO BOOST™ function, the RNDI-KT is ready to take the keytar world by storm.

“The keytar community is historically underrepresented in high-end recording and live sound equipment, and we’re ready to change that forever,” says a company representative who asked to remain anonymous. “We couldn’t be more excited to introduce the first in what is sure to be a long, long, long line of keytar-oriented products.”

“It’s basically all keytar from here on out,” he added.

“Finally, some respect!” said the well-known Shawn Blonkowsky, 30-year veteran keytar player from Kalamazoo, MI. Blonkowsky, a household name amongst keytar enthusiasts, said he is most excited to see how the new SOLO BOOST function helps “rizz up his live shows” when he’s about to “really dig in to a killer riff”. Shawn is shown in the photo above with his prototype signature RND keytar, which has an estimated April 2026 release date.

The RNDI-KT is now available worldwide with an MSRP of $199 USD / €198 EUR (ex VAT) / £166 GBP (ex VAT).
